Brassville the band is a seven piece ensemble comprised of TSU and Howard alumni. They represent an evolution of the traditional brass band sound with innovative arrangements, electrifying energy, and eclectic setlists.
They have established a presence on local and regional stages such as 3rd & Lindsley, ACME Feed & Seed, Exit In, the Basement East, Chattanooga's Station Street Live, Centennial Park's Musician's Corner, Cape May's Exit Zero Jazz Fest, the historic Ryman Auditorium, and the National Museum of African America Music just to name a few. They have also been recognized by the Nashville Jazz Workshop as Jazz Ambassadors, the Nashville Scene publication as Best Brass Band of 2021, and WNXP Nashville Public Radio as Artist of the Month for January 2022.
